The shape of a house keeps returning in my work. It is a simple form that instantly feels familiar.
For me it stands for warmth, safety and a sense of belonging.
In this piece a small golden house sits in a rough oak landscape. The wood keeps its natural texture while the gold brings a quiet touch of light and care.
Inside the box is a golden key held in place by a magnet, a small symbol of home, of something shared and personal.
A piece to celebrate moving in together, getting married or finding a new place to call home.
