Inspired by nature, especially the delicate forms of leaves.
The ginkgo leaf has always fascinated me with its graceful fan shape and unique structure.
In Asia, the ginkgo tree is a symbol of hope, endurance, timelessness and long life.
This box tells a quiet story between the rich, dark walnut and the light, patterned spalted beech.
Their contrast brings warmth and rhythm, while the hand-cut dovetail joints add depth and craftsmanship.
The brass details and soft leather interior complete the balance between strength and refinement.
Inside the box, a separate tray crafted from maple holds a cushion of yellow wool felt, on which a ginkgo leaf is delicately embroidered with beads. A small brass mesh container is also included. Together, these elements form a surprising interior that contrasts with the elegant exterior.
